Paralysis Ayurveda Treatment

Paralysis is impairment of one limb or two limbs or four limbs. Either both hands or both legs may loose their competency to perform their activity. In some cases either the right hand or the right leg loose their activity. Some times one hand is paralyzed, the other time four of the limbs get paralyzed.

When any one of the limbs are paralyzed that is called monoplesia. When both of the legs or hands are paralyzed the case is called paraplesia. When one hand and one leg of either right side or left side loose their function that is called hemiplesia. When all of the limbs are paralyzed it is called quadricplesia this is other wise called paralysis. Paralysis also may take place in the face, in the toung and some other places.

Paralysis takes place due to many causes, the commonest form of paralysis takes place due to a stroke in the brain. Brain stroke takes place due to hemorrhage or infarction. hemorrhage or infarction causes lack of oxygen in any part of the brain. It leads sudden death of the brain cells.
