Long Aspiration Needles

Long aspiration needles find heavy demand in the diagnostic procedures to investigate lumps or masses. These needles are inserted into the mass for cell sampling, which later, is examined under the microscope. FNA or Fine Needle Aspiration biopsies are minor surgical procedures that are very safe to carry out. These biopsies are much safer and less traumatic than the conventional open surgical biopsies. The FNA biopsies cause fewer complications as compared to some of its counterparts, depending upon the body site. A Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNA or FNB) of the thyroid nodule is an extremely safe procedure that is performed under the ultrasound guidance. It is required to ensure that the needle is placed accurately in the thyroid nodule.
