Aldehyde Resin

Aldehyde Resins are produced from auto-condensed aldehydes and find very rare usage in coatings. On, the other hand Urea modified aldehyde resins are widely preferred for being used as coating additive to improve the glass, body, and UV resistance. It is also known as grinding resins for pigment pastes as it has high pigment binding power as well as universal compatibility. They are also used in combination with other resin binders in order to improve the properties and production of pigment paste.
