Elmex is a pioneer in the field of electrical wire termination technology in India, having been established in 1963. It started as a switchgear industry manufacturer of Terminal Blocks (Din Rail Mounted Connectors) in 1963. It is now known as one of India's leading manufacturers of terminal blocks, thanks to the vision of our founder-chairman Mr. J. D. Ray.

Elmex Electric Pvt. Ltd. (formerly Econix Hi-Tech Components Pvt. Ltd.) was established in 1993 to diversify into a larger product segment and cater to a wider market. It was the first company in India to implement the concept of DIN-rail mounted Interface Modules for the Control and Automation industry.

Elmex won the gold award for solar cable connector business of the year in 2018. Over the years, Elmex has also received a number of prestigious national and international certifications and approvals.
