About Universal Modular Systems

Founded in 2010, UMS started as a small company with 25 people, fabricating racks, accessories and customised products for Data Centres and Server Rooms. Its reputation of building quality products at fractions of the cost of its competitors quickly spread, attracting a large number of companies from the then burgeoning IT sector of Bangalore.

UMS has kept pace with the industry, adapting its own fabrication process, taking advantage of improvements in the quality of raw materials and matching the expectations from its ever demanding clients. Powder coating has replaced spray-painting across the entire product line. Mechanical fabrication processes have been complimented with state-of-the-art CNC machining and while all designs used to start out as hand-drawn drafts, are today directly drawn on computer using sophisticated CAD applications.

Today, employing over 45 people in its fabrication facilities in Bangalore, UMS has grown to become a major supplier of racks and accessories to industries ranging from Software, Telecommunications, Space Research and Defence establishments all over India and even to a few countries abroad.

With over 60 items in its product catalogue, UMS can provide you with a complete solution for your server room and wiring closet.

UNIVERSAL Modular Systems offers a wide range of racks for computers, electronic and communication equipment. It also manufactures a range of accessories and custom products to suite your special requirements.

Our enclosures confirm stringently to DIN 41494 and are sutiable for integrating any equipment constructed in accordance to the 19" standard.
