Shanti Home was established in the year 2007 by a group of mental health professionals under the able leadership of Dr. Manish S. Kansal ( CMD ). Dr. Kansal has completed his Medical Graduation from B.J.M.C. Pune and post graduation in Psychiatry from G.S.M.C. & KEM hospital Mumbai. He is one of the leading Psychiatrist in Delhi. Dr. Kansal is also the first Indian Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) trained under Dr. Smith, Chairperson, NADA, USA. Dr. Kansal has also been actively associated with Delhi Psychiatric Society (DPS) in the capacity of General Secretary (2003-09), Vice President(2010-12) and President (2012-14).
