Leverage Edu, founded by Akshay Chaturvedi in early 2017, is the leading study abroad platform helping students from India & other emerging markets apply to universities abroad with an “outcome-focused counseling” approach that factors in employability + student success.

It has a team of over 600 employees. The company hosts over 7.5 Mn students every month, who get access to 350+ University partners, the AI Course/Job Finder, virtual fair platform UniConnect, tutoring platform LeverageLive, as well as its mobile app across iOS and Android which has a community of 200,000+ & includes daily shows at Leverage TV, as well as a 3000+ strong mentorship network.

The company also offers a ₹7 Crore scholarship fund for students & an initiative called Padho India that aids basic education for an underserved student for every applicant on its platform.

The company is quickly expanding & opened a UK office in 2021, & it’s Nigeria operations in early 2022. Within India, LeverageEdu now serves over 4000 pin codes across 823 cities and towns, making it the largest platform in the category. The LeverageEdu brand is also a sponsor of MTV Roadies this year.

It also last month announced the launch of Leverage Finance - offering cross-border remittances, international bank account set-up & education loans.
